The company CityPlan processed, as part of its research and development activities, these technical conditions on request of the Ministry of Transport of the Czech Republic. Technical conditions “Principles for systems of variable traffic signs and devices for variable traffic information on the road infrastructure” (TP 141) have been approved by the Ministry of Transport of the Czech Republic on 20.12.2000 as preliminary under the reference no. 26871/00-120, with effect from 1.1.2001.
TP 141 specifies basic objectives and principles of usage, location and fitting of variable traffic signs and devices for traffic information on roads and determines conditions for designing, implementing and operating systems of variable traffic signs and systems of devices for traffic information.
