Technical conditions "Principles for modifications of roads, including through roads in municipalities" (TP 131) have been approved by the Ministry of Transport of the Czech Republic, Department of Road Infrastructure, on 3.4.2000 under the reference no. 18932/00-120 dated, with effect from 1.5.2000.
TP 131 is valid for classification, collection and evaluation of deficits reducing usability value of the road infrastructure, and for designing maintenance, repair, reconstruction, elimination of such deficits and proposing traffic organisation on the road infrastructure.
The aim of TP 131 is not to create a comprehensive national database of classified defects, but to contribute to rapid detection and efficient removal of specific deficits, even those neglected in the long term.
