The subject of the study was to elaborate the transport engineering model of transport demand for the foreseen conditions of the year 2015 for the national border area between the border crossing Zinnwald/Altenberg to the railway border crossing Potůčky /Johanngeorgenstadt. To aim of the conducted transport model and subsequent analysis is to assess competitive situation between individual motor transport, public transport and local rail transport of passengers forecasted for the year 2015. The work included cooperation with partners on the territory of Saxony – the company PTV A. G. Dresden, dealing with the identical problem in the territory of Chemnitz-Annaberg-Buchholz-Freiberg. The contractor was the Public Transport Company of the cities of Most and Litvínov, the project was finished on 03/2005.
