The research project was aimed at creating a complex of methodological tools for population protection, crisis management and IZS of the Czech Republic. Furthermore, it analyzed the current situation and foreseen future changes of environment safety, and impact on safety policy, utilising conceptual documentation of the Ministry of Interior in terms of crisis management, civil emergency planning, protection of population and IZS. The goal of the project was to define scope and trends of safety research in the conditions of the Czech Republic.
